Nalin Fernando is an accomplished professional with a strong academic foundation and diversified leadership experience across hospitality, technology, and renewable energy. He graduated with a degree in Computer Science from London Metropolitan University, UK, and later earned his Master’s degree from the University of Victoria, Australia. He is also a member of both the Australian Computer Society and the British Computer Society, demonstrating his commitment to global professional standards. Nalin began his corporate journey in the hospitality industry, where he served as Director and General Manager at a reputed 4-star resort with over 100 keys. With more than 10 years of experience, he led major operational improvements, elevated service quality, and successfully upgraded the property to a new 4-star classification standard strengthening its commercial position and enhancing its guest reputation. As a result, he maintains strong connections with many leading hotels across Sri Lanka. Motivated by an entrepreneurial vision, he later established Jade Green Hotel Hambantota, known for its warm service culture, authenticity, and consistent guest experience. Parallel to hospitality, Nalin expanded into the renewable energy sector, investing in large scale solar and rentable power generation projects now operating in Sri Lanka’s sustainable energy landscape. Nalin also leads a highly professional team capable of delivering exceptional customer experiences. He works with both chauffeur and national tourist guides registered with SerendibGo, and he has access to a wide range of vehicle fleets across Sri Lanka. Today, Nalin serves as the Chairman of SerendibGo, leading the organization with a mission to shape meaningful, modern travel experiences through innovation, operational excellence, and Sri Lankan hospitality.
